At Jacksonville Mobile Golf Cart Repair, we see a lot of recreational carts (vs club carts) for repairs or enrolled in our maintenance program. We’re often asked which golf carts we think are best or most affordable or requires the least amount of maintenance work. Those are all good questions and when it comes to which golf cart is the “best,” the answer is “it depends.”
We know, we know. You don’t want to hear that. But it really does depend on what features you need for your specific situation. Do you plan to drive it on the street? Do you have golf cart lanes like some master plan communities have? Do you need it to also be ideal for a golf course with bag attachments? These are all important things to consider. We compiled a short list of our top 5 favorite golf carts. In it we try to highlight some of the features that might be appealing to some people vs others. Without further ado, here is our list. E-MERGE Ghosthawk This sexy beast is a lifted golf cart that boasts 14 inch aluminum wheel fitted with hydraulic brakes. It has both front disk and rear drum hydraulic breaks. It can be used both on and off-road, which makes it ideal for the wooded areas around south Jacksonville in the Ponte Vedra/Nocatee/St. Johns area. The Star SS 48 This golf cart comes with a very fair price tag considering all of the features it has. It has an amazing range for being 48 volt. We had to end on a golf cart that had more appealing looks (we think the E-MERGE Ghosthawk is also a pretty cool-looking cart), and this one fit the bill.
